NAEYC realizes that there are factors that affect a program's ability to host a site visit. An accreditation site visit can not take place if classes are not in session. It is a program’s responsibility to request a site visit disruption if they are unable to maintain standard operations due to weather emergencies, public health emergencies, natural disasters or if they are not serving children. The program will incur no additional costs due to the site visit disruption.
